Hart immediately drew me into this story and into Mateo and Josiah’s tortured, sad, but hopeful lives. I was captivated by this author’s words from the get-go. There is so much packed into this book and I loved it all. It’s a story of forgiveness and second chances. It’s a story of healing and a journey of finding one’s self. It’s young love meets true love then absolute heartbreak.
